Dwyane Wade is turning back the clock with his new look.
The former NBA player shocked fans by unveiling his new clean-shaven look—which sees him without his signature beard for the first time in years—on social media.
“How many years did I take off!?” Wade captioned his Aug. 23 Instagram post. “The Beard needed a break!”
In the carousel post—which included two selfies, a video and a photo of Wade as a child—the 44-year-old’s beard was indeed gone, replaced by a pencil mustache and a small goatee on his chin.
Naturally, fans let their thoughts about Wade’s drastic new appearance known in the comments, with many joking about how young he looked.
“What number you about to get drafted?” one person asked, while another commenting that he “looks like he just came in the league.”
A third person said, “They gone think you had plastic surgery bro.”
