One year after theConfessions of a Shopaholicstar finalized her divorcefromSacha Baron Cohenfollowing 13 years of marriage, she shared insight into her new chapter.

“I’m much stronger than I thought I was, and I would say that my friendships, my female friendships, have really been instrumental to me discovering or recovering that strength,” Fisher exclusively told E! News at theSpa Weekendpremiere in Las Vegas Aug. 7. “I’mincredibly grateful.”

And working with a stacked lineup of girlbosses—includingAnna Faris,Michelle ButeauandLeslie Mann—on the film in theaters Aug. 21 only made her feel more grounded in her latest phase of life.

“Honestly, it was so much fun,” Fisher said. “I feel like from the time we did the table read, we all just got along. I’ve known Anna for years, and Leslie and I had made a movie together and Michelle, I was a fan from afar.”

“But we all just had a natural chemistry and we’re all girls’ girls,” she added. “So, there was a lot of support for each other and encouragement, and it was really special.”
