Born in West Africa, influenced by Berlin, and based in Brooklyn, the afro-house trailblazer AMÉMÉ continues to infuse his signature One Tribe event series with fresh energy as the artistic collective gears up for a significant impact in 2024.

AMÉMÉ has revealed the eagerly anticipated second launch date of his revamped One Tribe event series, set to take place at the newly renovated Shelter in Amsterdam on March 2nd, 2024. This announcement coincides with the exciting news of a quarterly One Tribe residency scheduled at Shelter throughout the year. The series kicked off in London on February 2nd at fabric.

Marking its debut in the Dutch capital, One Tribe will commandeer Shelter, Amsterdam, for an entire evening of meticulously curated programming, showcasing the seminal sounds of the collective and AMÉMÉ’s distinct brand of ‘AMÉMÉ House.’ Joining AMÉMÉ, the event will feature sets by Bontan, Philou Louzolo, and Nenahalena, ensuring a night of unparalleled musical immersion.

One Tribe embodies an artistic vision and global collective representing the three pillars of Hubert Sodogandji, also known as AMÉMÉ – music, art, and fashion. Initially conceived in the Fall of 2017, One Tribe began as a carefully curated event series before evolving into a thriving record label. As the project gained momentum in New York, One Tribe quickly became a focal point of Brooklyn’s electronic music scene, securing a regular event showcase at the revered House of Yes in Bushwick.

With plans to reintroduce the curated, distinctive, and unforgettable afro-house experience that defined his collective, the revitalized edition of One Tribe will premiere at London’s legendary fabric on February 2nd, 2024, ahead of its Shelter debut, with further launch dates to be announced soon in New York. In London, AMÉMÉ will be joined by Bontan, Kitty Amor, and Philou Louzolo for an unforgettable evening of dynamic afro-house programming in Room 2 of the iconic club, marking One Tribe’s first signature event in four years.

If you’re in the area, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
