Inhaler Rip Through Cover of Billie Eilish’s ‘Your Power’

Music

Irish rockers Inhaler celebrated the release of their debut album It Won’t Always Be Like This on Wednesday night (July 14) by busting out a surprise cover of Billie Eilish‘s “Your Power” during their BBC Radio 1 live session with Annie Mac.

Singer Eli Hewson joked with Mac that it took “months of training” for him to hone in on the sky-high falsetto in the song from Eilish’s upcoming Happier Than Ever album. ”I think we did a good job, and hopefully she likes it and we didn’t butcher her song,” he said. “We wanted to do something that was popular. I think she’s [Eilish] a really good inspiration for people who wanna get into the pop world. When you hear her songs, you really know that it comes from her heart. And I think the song has a great message. We just kind of wanted to see if we could do a good version of it.”
