HEKLER‘s evolution through sound has been an absolute thrill to hear progress over the years — and his latest single “ASTRAL” pushes the project forward once again in new ways.
Featuring an emotive performance from JELEEL! and a bold, iridescent soundscape, the production keeps us on the edge of our seats from start to finish with next level creativity. HEKLER’s synth work shines with much glimmer and grit, as heavy percussion accentuates the track’s heaviest moments.
HEKLER shares of the release, “‘Astral’ represents taking risk and going to astronomical lengths to be and show the world who I really am as an artist.”
He continues, “I’ve always made everything and just happened to pop off in the bass scene, I played in jazz bands, used to rap, produced every genre and my journey never showed my true passion and always was afraid to switch up so I tried incorporating all of my background and create a new sound that really represents me as a human and an artist.”
Ahead of his upcoming album, HEKLER says, “you’ll not only get to hear but feel what I feel and have experienced on this journey I’ve embarked on the last few years.”
