Def Jam Recordings will release the Coming 2 America Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on March 5, Billboard can exclusively announce.
Coming 2 America, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1988 classic starring Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall, will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video the same day the soundtrack will be available via Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music and all streaming platforms.
Up first from the soundtrack: Def Jam rapper Bobby Sessions and Megan Thee Stallion will release their new original collaboration “I’m a King” on Friday. A snippet of the song can be heard in the new trailer released Wednesday (watch below). This isn’t the first time the duo has teamed up: Sessions was a co-writer on Meg’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Savage.”
