The wait is over. Taylor Swift performed for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series–just her and a guitar.
In a preview clip uploaded on Tuesday (Oct. 15), Swift stands in front of a cheering crowd as she expresses gratitude to perform at the characteristically tiny studio.
“Tiny Desk is like one of my favorite corners of the Internet, and I’ve always loved seeing—it’s an opportunity for artists to decide a different way to showcase their music,” she explains.
“So you’re kind of inundated by overwhelming opportunity and choices. I just decided to kind of take this as an opportunity to show you guys how the songs sounded when I first wrote them,” she continued. “So it’s just me. There’s no dancers, unfortunately.”
