The 2019 season of America’s Got Talent is loaded with talented youngsters. Charlotte Summers is one of them.

The Spanish teen caught the singing bug when she watched AGT as a seven year old. Today, she’s living the dream.

On Tuesday night’s episode, the 13-year-old stepped on up and nailed a bluesy rendition of Lesley Gore’s feminist anthem from the early ‘60s, “You Don’t Own Me.”

“Interesting choice for a song,” noted guest judge Jay Leno. “This is a song about a woman who’s going to do what she wants, when she wants it. I was blown away.”

Simon Cowell was also impressed. “We asked all these earlier acts why they’re so nervous. Now I understand because they’ve heard you and, it’s like, I might as well give up now,” he quipped. “There’s a real rawness to you, which I love. This is great. I’m really happy.”

Summers was happy too. Watch the performance below.
