Milo Ventimiglia is poised to take on a real-life role that he previously played on This Is Us: Dad.
The actor’s wife, Jarah Mariano, announced Sept. 29 that she pregnant. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model shared a photo of herself showcasing a baby bump while sitting on a surf board in the ocean in her native Hawaii, captioning the Instagram post, “Baby on board!”
The 39-year-old, whose last name is the same as Milo’s character on the early aughts series Gilmore Girls, also included a second pic of herself sitting on the surf board that also showed her and the hand of a hidden person making the shaka, or “hang loose” sign.
Jarah announced her pregnancy less than a week after she and the Heroes alum, 47, celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
“Last year I married my best friend,” she wrote on Instagram Sept. 23, alongside photos of herself and her husband at their Hawaiian wedding, which marked the first ones shared publicly. “There aren’t enough words that exist to describe all the special qualities that make him who he is.”
