Progressive and electo house isn’t dead yet. Alex and Dan, the brother-duo behind Record Club, are on a mission to reestablish the glorys days of these genres. It was the era that sparked their love for electronic dance music, and has served as a major influence on their sound.
So far, their songs have received support from the likes of R3HAB and Valy Mo, and they were named “one of the most promising up and coming acts within electronic music” by Early Rising. To kick off 2022, the duo released “You Make Me Feel”, showcasing their artistic diversity with the progressive house gem. Featuring a catchy topline and booming bass line Nicky Romero would be proud of, the boys created what feels like a festival anthem that would go off on the main stage.
To follow this single, Record Club has just released another thunderous single, titled “Switch It Up“. It is pure energy, building anticipation the minute you press play. It builds perfectly into a electrifying, bass synth heavy drop that can’t help but make you want to rage.
Here’s what Record Club had to say about it:
“Following up ‘You Make Me Feel’ we decided to dial in our Big Room roots with ‘Switch It Up’ and man are we excited to drop this one. This time around we wanted to switch it up and focus more on utilizing noises and sounds to guide the listener through the track instead of relying solely on vocals. The instrumentals behind Martin Garrix’s track ‘Diamonds’ initially sparked our creative interest into making this track because of the way his track dives right in from the get go and never lets up. However, as you can see with the name, the driving force behind our song is the switch up during our second drop which we know will really catch the listener’s attention and keep their interest the entire time. We’re here to lead the charge in bringing Big Room back, and ‘Switch It Up’ is just the beginning!”
