In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Carrie Coon, McKenna Grace, and Finn Wolfhard play Callie, Phoebe, and Trevor – a single mother and her two children who find themselves evicted from their home. With no other choice, they go to the Oklahoma house that was left to the family by the kids’ grandfather, Dr. Egon Spengler. and try to start their lives anew. This would be challenging for anybody, but making things even harder is the fact that the town has been plagued by frequent earthquakes (despite not being anywhere near a fault line), and strange events have been reported tied back to an old mine previously owned by an alleged occultist. Phoebe winds up solving a puzzle that gives her access to all of her grandfather’s old equipment, and the family together teams up to try and stop a dangerous supernatural foe.
