Post Malone Talks Chiefs Tattoo, Haunting on ‘Late Night’

Music

Post Malone dialed in to Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday night (Feb. 1) from his home in Utah where he might be building an underground panic bunker. “You know, it might be part of it,” Posty said with a grin when Meyers asked about the noise of construction going on in the background. “We’re doing some fun stuff over here like marble beer pong tables… you know, the bunker’s coming, things take a little bit,” Malone laughed, seemingly acknowledging that he’s also constructing a bunkroom that could house 30 of his friends when things really go sideways .

Nominated for three awards at the upcoming Grammys, Malone said if he wins any hardware on March 14, he plans to stash them below ground. The rapper, who also talked about his frequent 4 a.m. ventures out into the wilderness around his house to spy UFOs using his night-vision goggles, told Meyers he was very proud of his upcoming Super Bowl Bud Light Legends commercial because, well, “I love football and I also love beer.”

With the pandemic lockdown still in full effect, Malone plans to watch Sunday’s (Feb. 7) matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs from his home bar, possibly while playing music after what the former Texas native said was a rough year for his beloved, bedeviled Cowboys. And even though he’s a Dallas fan, Malone once again recounted the story of how he ended up with a Chiefs tattoo on his arm after losing a beer pong game to Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce.
