Business, US, World

Jacob is a grant writer in Seattle, Washington, and a former chef and postal worker. Oladayo is a business consultant in Lagos, Nigeria, who works in career development. Karishma is a technology student in Tamil Nadu, India who enjoys outreach strategy. Dweebs Global, an international COVID-response nonprofit, has brought together these individuals as volunteers passionate about providing free career development services and free mental health support to anyone in need.

These holidays, Dweebs Global is proud to connect over 400 people from around the world, people who are truly motivated by helping others and learning from each other regardless of the pandemic and distances between them. As Oladayo says, “I enjoy working with Dweebs because of the amazing impact the organization is making by providing mentorship, guidance and services for free to help improve young people. I have met amazing people around the world through Dweebs.”

Dweebs Global’s successes include finding jobs for the unemployed, helping individuals overcome serious mental health issues, and supporting anyone who needs guidance in their career path. Since starting in April, Dweebs Global has hosted incredible speakers, including the CEO of Logitech and best-selling authors, and is working with universities from Stanford University to Michigan State University to help students succeed.
