6ix9ine has apparently never heard the phrase “snitches get stitches.” The rapper testified against his fellow gang members — Nine Trey Bloods — during the first day of his trial in Manhattan today.

Tekashi said he met many of the gang members while on set for his “GUMMO” music video in 2017, the same day he met his manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan. Still images from the video were shown in court as the colorful hip hop star pointed out the various gang members.

6ix9ine said he never had to be initiated, nor did he have to shoot anyone to get in. Nine Trey Bloods wanted him in the gang for his bankroll.

At one point, he “nervously” pointed out the defendants Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison. He also identified Trippie Redd as a member of rival gang Five Nine Brims.

Tekashi was arrested on racketeering charges in November 2018. He was reportedly was looking at a minimum of 47 years behind bars, but ratting out the gang is part of his deal.

His snitching might be getting him a lesser sentence, but the rap communityRappers Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Meek Mill and more have publicly expressed their disapproval.
