For his first VMA performance, Big Sean teamed up with his Harlem brethren A$AP Ferg for a live rendition of their newly-released collaboration “Bezerk” Monday night (Aug. 26) at the 2019 MTV VMAs.
The buoyant performance found the hip-hop twosome rapping shoulder-to-shoulder, spewing rapid-fire verses with seamless precision. Not only did Sean and Ferg flex their breath control, but they also showcased their dance moves, hitting the Milly Rock on several occasions.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Ferg spoke on his brotherhood with Big Sean and MadeinTYO and what makes their bond so special. “We have that calm energy,” he said. “Also, we’re all really like brothers. It’s funny, because Sean and TYO have a brother relationship without me, but we’re all brothers. We’re not problematic people. We’re stylish. We have all of that shit in common.
