Here is a wrap-up of all the news you need to know from Wednesday, August 21 2019.

Legacies is adding another new addition to its ranks for Season 2.

Deadline is reporting that The Fosters veteran Bianca Santos has been added in a recurring capacity.

She will play a “sharp-tongued and flirtatious” Mystic Falls High School student named Maya.

She will be the daughter of the new Sheriff in town, who goes by the name of Mac. There’s no telling what became of Matt Donovan, but given that he’s survived every deadly scenario in Mystic Falls, he may be off taking some much-needed respite.

Maya also has a brother named Ethan, so there’s that.

The good news here is that it sounds like we’ll be spending more time in the town as opposed to just the high school setting.

Alexis Denisof and Thomas Doherty were previously added to the Season 2 cast.

In other casting news, Manifest is adding some new faces to its sophomore run.

Deadline has revealed that Yasha Jackson (Blue Bloods) has joined the cast as Suzanne, the ex-girlfriend of Ben Stone.

Yes, really. So, we should probably expect some relationship drama thrown in.

One of the biggest complaints about Manifest Season 1 was the relationship drama.

The other new addition is Garrett Wareing (BH90210), whol will play TJ, a college freshman.

He was a passenger on the ill-fated Flight 828. Sounds intriguing.
