Brockhampton are back.
Just two weeks ago, the Texas rap collective announced a new album, GINGER, would drop sometime in August.
The release date for their fifth set is still a closely-guarded secret, though we now have a taste of GINGER, with the release overnight of a new track from it, “I Been Born Again.”
GINGER is the followup to 2018’s Iridescence, which bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. And earlier this year, group frontman Kevin Abstract took a slight detour with the release of a solo effort, ARIZONA BABY.
“I Been Born Again” sees the band members rap about childhood, bad habits and big money, and it’s accompanied by a grainy, black and white clip shot by Spencer Ford.
A bunch of live dates are lined-up for the months ahead, and another tour of Australia will follow in the new year.
