Christina “Tinx” Najjar is weighing in on online speculation.

Ahead of the May release of her debut novel Hotter in the Hamptons, the self-professed “Big Sister” of TikTok reacted to allegations that she didn’t write the fiction book herself.

“What if someone else wrote it?” one user said in an April 2 TikTok. “What if the real author was never acknowledged? What if they were hired to stay invisible? What does it say about capitalism and creativity that we’ve normalized ghost writing in the name of convenience, content and clout?”

The user then showed a screen recording of writer and former Nylon editor-in-chief Gabrielle Korn’s personal website, which lists Tinx’s book under the Ghostwriting section of her Manuscript Services page.

However, Tinx weighed in with her truth about the book, which features a romance between two women.

“Of course I hired a collaborator who’s queer,” Tinx commented on the video. “I am not a lesbian. I wanted to nail that part of the storyline.”
