Lollapalooza & City of Chicago Offer Free Festival Passes at COVID-19 Vaccination Sites

Music

Lollapalooza and the City of Chicago are incentivizing people to get vaxxed by offering free passes to the staple music festival coming next month.

There are reportedly 1,200 single-day passes available to anyone who signs up for a vaccine on June 26 aka Lolla Day at four designated vaccination sites across the city. The pop up “Lollapalooza experience” includes live DJ sets, festival-branded giveaways, free passes for eligible Chicago residents — and, the headliner, the COVID-19 vaccine.

Each pop up vaccination site represents a different day of the festival. Get passes for July 29 at Wilbur Wright College, passes for July 30 at Richard J. Daley College, passes for July 31 at Kennedy King College and passes for August 1 at Malcolm X College.

Organizer C3 Presents’ Charlie Walker shares, “Lollapalooza has called Chicago home for the past 16 years, and we truly love this vibrant city. We are pleased to partner with and support the City to encourage vaccinations.”

Get more info, read through eligibility requirements and register for the Lolla Day vaccination event here. Keep in mind, tickets for individuals that are already fully vaccinated will be made available on June 27.

Lollapalooza 2021 takes place July 29 – August 1 at Grant Park in Chicago. Explore the lineup here.
