Martin Gore has been out the spotlight a short while, but he’s back and he’s going it alone.
The British songwriter, singer and keyboardist is a founding member of Depeche Mode, a recent inductee into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame and whose most recent album, 2017’s Spirit, went in at No. 5 in the U.S. and U.K.
Later this year, Gore celebrates a personal milestone – a birthday ending in a zero. But first, the British all-rounder unleashes The Third Chimpanzee EP, a five-track soundscape of industrial groans, beats, dark layered synths, and precisely no vocals.
