John Pasquale known by his brand name “SohoJohnny” is a character filled with color, texture and benevolence. Through his animated soul he brings music to life and philanthropy to real-time simultaneously.
Born in New York City and raised in the Bronx, SohoJohnny had the benefit of two loving parents, a mom who loved music and a dad who loved life. Both taught the class jester the essence of the man he became. John always felt an inner illumination towards the entertainment industry so after having great success in the business world he authored a new chapter in his life and decided to follow his dream…
He became a spirited guest and what seemed like the gods themselves propelled his chariot of fire. He created his own media company and record labels because he wished to share his love of music with the world and created the “Let Me Help, Inc” foundation because of his love for humanity, and his wish to help others. Like an arc of humanity he realizes that endurance and empathy makes us human.
Through his foundation he produced one of the best virtual benefit concerts lasting 6 hours and featuring some of the biggest celebrities on the planet including Sir Patrick Stewart, Jeff Goldblum, Julian Lennon, AniMaze X, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Jane Lynch, Kenny Aronoff, Fred Schneider, Tommy James, Leland Sklar, Scott Page, Rick Wakeman, John Lodge, Susie Quatro, Stephen Perkins, Henry Rollins, Slash, and about 65 others. The “Let Me Help, Inc” foundation donated the proceeds to the victims of COVID-19 via Meals on Wheels, anti-bullying through Creative Visions and Prostate cancer research. This extravaganza came after a disco phenomenon featuring all the legends of disco the year prior and a Christmas soirée featuring Leon Robinson and Kim Sledge both benefitting the American Cancer Society. SohoJohnny has also sponsored the Watts Conservatory of Music through “Nights After NAMM”, benefiting the underprivileged children living in Los Angeles.
SohoJohnny is also a deserving Superhero in his very own dedicated comic book and also sits on the Board of Directors of “The Legends of Vinyl.” His accomplishments in the entertainment industry have taken vast leaps in a short time. His further endeavors include more concerts of the same magnitude and quality as before as well as the recording of his debut single.
In a year devastated by plague and social unrest as the world remains sequestered and isolated, through his own personal tragedy of the loss of his mom to Covid-19, SohoJohnny still realizes that there is always a dawn after the darkness. He has been dubbed “the soulmate of the heart”, and he knows that since touch has a memory he will continue to touch as many lives as he can.
