Just a few short months after the launch of her eponymous beauty line, Victoria Beckham (who was recently in Toronto) has unveiled her first skincare product. The self-confessed skincare junkie has partnered with the legendary Dr. Augustinus Bader for the product meaning it’s going to be very, very good.

A long-time fan of Bader’s eponymous line of skincare (which recently landed in Canada), Beckham approached the skincare specialist to help formulate her product. In an interview, Sarah Creal, the co-founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty, said, “From Victoria’s perspective, when we started talking about skincare, it was really the only option. She and I had both been using Augustinus Bader The Cream and The Rich Cream and she had said to me early on when we talked about the brand, ‘When we launch skincare I just want to make sure it’s the most active thing out there’.”

Enter the Cell Rejuventaing Priming Moisturizer.

Part skincare and part primer, the moisturizer has been made using Bader’s famed TFC8 complex, which encourages skin repair and renewal. The result is lit-from-within skin that’s being treated throughout the day, with the added bonus of holding your makeup in place. Of the hybrid product, Creal says it “answers Victoria’s quest for instantly glowing, perfected skin.”

For Bader, he told British Vogue that the partnership is “a logical extension” for his brand. “You can use it and then put on your makeup and have super nice skin. If you look at conventional makeup and see what’s in it, you get frightened! It’s so bad for the skin. But this is actually good for the skin, and it creates a barrier between the makeup and the skin itself.”

Creal also hinted that the moisturizer is just the first step in an expanded skincare range from the brand.

The Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer is available from November 19 on victoriabeckhambeauty.com in 30ml and 50ml.
