Surprise! There’s a new, old White Stripes album to live with.
Jack White and Meg White played their final gig together on Jul 31, 2007 at the Mississippi venue Snowden Grove Amphitheater, in support of the Icky Thump album of that year. They never released another studio LP, and they disbanded The White Stripes in 2011.
That final performance lives on as The White Stripes: Live in Mississippi, a 24-track live set featuring “Hotel Yorba,” “Ball And Biscuit,” “In the Cold, Cold Night,” “Icky Thump” and more.
In August, Jack White’s Third Man Records announced the release of a package celebrating the 20th anniversary of the White Stripes self-titled debut album.
The White Stripes: Live in Mississippi is available to stream and download via Nugs.net.
